A Life Built Around Water
Florence grew up in Haleiwa, Hawaii, surfing Banzai Pipeline as a child. He won his third world title in 2024 and has spent much of his career seeking out the most remote waves on earth. In 2025, he stepped back from the Championship Tour to sail the South Pacific with his wife and their son, exploring coastlines far beyond the reach of any infrastructure.

Access can filter any naturally occurring water source, including seawater, into clean water. Portable and battery-powered, it works where infrastructure doesn't.
Florence's life on the water puts him in direct contact with that problem. As Vital Lyfe brings Access to market, this partnership signals who the product is built for: people who go further and stay longer.

About John John Florence
John John Florence is a three-time WSL World Surfing Champion, five-time Triple Crown of Surfing winner, and two-time Olympian. Born and raised on the North Shore of Oahu, he is widely regarded as one of the most gifted surfers of his era. In recent years he has turned his focus toward sailing and open ocean exploration, traveling the Pacific with his family and documenting expeditions to some of the most remote surf locations in the world.
